Hi all,
I got a Dell Inspiron 6400. I have installed a Red Hat Linux Enterprise WS 3 on it. Can have 1024x768 resolution. But I would like to have 1280x800, which is the maximum resolution that in Windows XP can get.
The monitor type is Dell E177FPm.
The chipset is Intel® 945GM.
Graphic Card should be Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950™
The moniter is not there in the Applications>> System Settings >> Display >> Hardware, so I choose Generic LCD Display >> LCD Panel 1280x800.
The graphic card I use VESA.
How can I let my Linux can have the same resolution as what I can get from Windows XP?
I will wait online, any advice is deeply appreciated!!!
