I recently installed Red Hat Linux 9.0 on my Acer Aspire 1660 series lapton but the graphical login feature failed to start. I got the following error

Fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Does anybody knows how to correct this error?

Lastly, does anybody know the the horizontal and vertical refresh rates of the Aspire 1660 series laptop screen?
