Default Laptop and built-in soundcard for music

Hi
I would like to run linux on a laptop but my aim is to use it with sound and midi software. I know it is very difficult but my needs are poor. I'm satisfied with a few hd recording tracks (and midi to external device). The problem is the audio latency. I was said that some asio drivers exist to minimize latency. Do you know a particular laptop whose built-in soundcard has asio drivers (generic too) and good performances? (that is low latency).
thx in advance
