CCRMA (pronounced karma) is a collection of Red Hat packages ( RPMs ) to help optimize a Linux workstation for audio work. The packages, once installed, transform the Linux kernel using the ALSA soundcard drivers and other applications into a low-latency workstation or server for sound and video production and distribution.
