Exclamation AGP Gart Hang??

Hey Folks, I'm working on getting my Compaq V2000 running with the Debian Distro, but my laptop has intel based graphics with used the i810 drivers requiring kernel-level agp gart. For whatever reason, booting always hangs on the loading agp gart interface line and I can't get passed it. Any suggestions?

You could try leaving agp out. You video card is most likely pci based.

I have the same problem! I'm using an Acer 5002 WLMI, with FC4. The problem started occuring when I updated to the latest kernel.

Forgive me, I'm quite new. How do I find out if my video card uses AGP? How do I disable it?

thx,

Jeff
