Default Toshiba L-35

Hi there, someone could help me and try to get a linux distro in a l-35 I ve trying with mdk 2005 and mandriva 2006 power pack but it doesn work, I can get the sound and wifi get working, Hope can help me!Thanks in advance ALex

Default distro

Well, I'm not able to find any specs on that system, but I've always had luck with either Gentoo or LFS (Linux from Scratch)

Until recently that is.. haveing some audio problems, but I think that is more due to the state of the drivers than anything else right now.

Ubuntu and SuSE are other choices that I've had luck with.
