Default Deactivate components on VAIO SZ2

Hi,

I own since a couple of days a nice Sony VAIO SZ2M/B. Now I have installed quite sucessful gentoo linux on this system and got most powermanagement working (software suspend, cpu frequency, fn-keys...). On Windows there is a small tool from Sony, which let you deactivate some components like DVD burner, LAN, Audio+Modem to save even more power. Has someone any idea how to do this on linux?

Cheers, and thanks in advance
Martin
